Radina Russell Joins Teneo as a Managing Director with Teneo Strategy

New York, May 3, 2016 – Radina Russell today joins Teneo Strategy as a Managing Director.

Prior to joining Teneo, Ms. Russell was a Director in the Brunswick Group’s Capital Markets Advisory Practice and co-head of the Global Shareholder Activism Defense Practice. In these capacities, she advised clients on shareholder activism defense tactics and shareholder engagement strategies, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, investor relations, contested situations and financial and corporate communications.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Ms. Russell was a VP of Equity Research at J.P. Morgan, where she advised institutional and hedge fund clients on retail and consumer equity picks and provided detailed sector research, in addition to leading a number of IPOs. She began her career as a Strategic Planning Analyst at Deloitte.


Jack Leventhal Joins Teneo Capital as a Senior Managing Director

NEW YORK, June 7, 2016 – Jack Leventhal today joins Teneo Capital as a Senior Managing Director. Mr. Leventhal has more than 25 years of financial institutions investment banking experience and has executed more than $100 billion of public and private capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory transactions, and structured transactions on a global basis. Mr. Leventhal began his career in the financial institution groups of Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers, before spending almost 10 years at UBS Securities and almost 11 years at Nomura Securities.

In 1995, Mr. Leventhal was one of the first members of a newly created U.S. Financial Institutions investment banking business at UBS. In 1999, Mr. Leventhal relocated to Hong Kong to lead UBS’ Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Group, which, during Mr. Leventhal’s tenure, consistently ranked as a market leader in financial institutions M&A and capital raising.

In 2005, Mr. Leventhal joined Nomura Securities in New York to create and build a U.S. Financial Institutions investment banking business. Under Mr. Leventhal’s leadership, the group grew from two professionals to more than two dozen professionals and was consistently among the most productive investment banking groups within Nomura Americas.

International rugby legend, Brian O’Driscoll, will join the Teneo Sports division as a Senior Advisor

NEW YORK, NY, June 9, 2016 – Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced that international rugby legend, Brian O’Driscoll, will join the Teneo Sports division as a Senior Advisor and will work closely with Teneo Sports’ leadership team, supporting a number of important mandates for both corporate and sports clients.

Mr. O’Driscoll is considered to be one of the greatest rugby players in the history of the sport. He was the captain of the Ireland Rugby team from 2004 – 2012 and captained Leinster Rugby from 2005 until the end of the 2008 season. He also captained the British and Irish Lions for their 2005 tour of New Zealand. He is the eighth-highest try scorer in international rugby union history, and the highest scoring centre of all time.

Pierre-Alain Rikkers Joins Teneo Capital as a Managing Director

NEW YORK, June 15, 2016 – Pierre-Alain Rikkers today joins Teneo Capital as a Managing Director. Mr. Rikkers is senior financial advisor with deep experience advising financial services, financial technology and private equity clients on a global basis, with an industry specialization in FinTech.

Before joining Teneo, Mr. Rikkers was a Managing Director at Arma Partners, a leading Tech/FinTech advisory firm focused on the middle market in the US and Europe. Prior to Arma, Mr. Rikkers was Senior Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group at Moelis & Company.

Mr. Rikkers started his banking career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a Director in Global Corporate and Investment Banking in the Financial Institutions Group in New York and London. Prior to banking, Mr. Rikkers was a practicing attorney, working with the Corporate M&A Group of Linklaters in Brussels and London.

Further expands Teneo’s strategic consulting and sports advisory business in Europe

July 18, 2016 – Dublin and New York City – Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced that it has acquired PSG Communications, a leading communications and sports advisory practice based in Dublin, Ireland.

PSG was founded in 2014 following a merger between leading Irish PR firms Pembroke Communications and Slattery Communications. Today, the firm has 55 employees and advises some of Ireland’s largest corporate and not-for-profit entities, as well as a growing number of multinational clients based in Ireland. PSG has received numerous industry awards over the last two years and provides services across four areas covering corporate communications and reputation management, brand strategy and marketing communications, sports and entertainment sponsorship, and digital communications.

The PSG senior management team, including Chief Executive Mick O’Keeffe and Executive Chairman Padraig Slattery, will continue in their roles and to lead the business. They will now report to Charles Watson, Chairman of Teneo International who will join the board of PSG, together with Brendan Murphy, who currently leads Teneo’s operations in Ireland and will become Vice Chairman.
